Thank you for your comments Leuba. I have some in a container now to determine the adult psyllid. (AKA Jumping plant lice)
Hi Martin, have a look at this spotting of mine. I had labelled these galls as spindle galls ( acc. to Brisbane insects) but l.cook has suggested amending it to Psyllid gall http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/15432170 I am now not sure whether they are Schedotrioza sp - could you advise on my spotting, please.
missed this one Martin - great series ! It's good to see the last pic with wasp larva..
The species of gall is the spindle gumtree gall, a soft bug named Apiomorpha spinifer http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_softbugs/SpindleGumtreeGall.htm
I've come back to this spotting and added the tiny target hemipteran gall forming scale bug (pic#2).
This wasp seems to be braconid wasp (Callibracon sp.) http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/showimage/1553/
Martin, have you seen this? http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/10814905
