Description:

Young trees averaging 8-10 feet maximum height, with thin red limbs, multi-pointed green leaves and clusters of castor beans hanging all over.

Habitat:

On the slopes of Volcan Agua in the Guatemalan Highlands where they are cultivated. The volcano is often covered by fog or clouds, and the air is often chilly.
