Hi Julio, Thanks heaps. How are you?
Congrats Chiquita, beautiful shots and extra ordinary spotting.
congrats for sotd
Congratulations! You've had more than your share of rain this summer but think of all the action as a result in a month or two.
Congrats....well deserved! I love that you captured every angle so we can truly see all its beauty.
Thanks Argy, how are you? Raining everyday here in Syd, no spotting so far :(
Thankyou Bong Ambutong, a humble caterpillar from Manly Dam became popular. I wonder if he knows that :)
Carol, thankyou for your support :)
Congratulation Chic, fantastic shot deserve to be the SOTD....
Juan Mantilla - MJ Reichenbach thankyou ...
S Frazier, it's worth carrying my camera wherever I go :) @ HiralPatel, all we need just a camera and a flashlight, not Photoshop :) :) :)
Big thankyou to you Peter, it's an honour to receive this.
Spotting of the Day! "The unusual looking caterpillar of the Wattle Notodontid Moth has a clever defense against predators. It raises its tail when disturbed and shows a pair of eyespots." Thanks everybody, thanks for the 'heart' sign, too ... I'm in Asia at the moment, my gosh .... heaps of beautiful things here!
Very cool caterpillar and great series of shots to document your spotting. I think your photos were definitely worth laying on the dirty ground. I love it's feet!
Ha - a caterpillar designed by Salvadore Dali!
Thanks WarmNapat, I used the Ranger's blue car as the background to get some contrast .... :)
Great shot with Amazing caterpillar!
fabulous spotting really cool!!
Carol, my son agreed with your theory ... he said you are being neutral :):):) .... we love it!!!! I just don't understand why such a beautiful caterpillar turns out as a plain brown moth?????
I think if you are right-handed you will like the first photo. And left-handed the second one. HA! Just the way the brain works.
Not to settle an argument or start one. I like both first and second photos, but first one the best. HA! The debate continues. Great SERIES!
Juan+Mantilla+-+MJ+Reichenbach, it was the argument between my son and I. I lost :) :) :)
Amazing caterpillar & great photo!
I love it! Ismael, I thought of yours a world a way. So COOL! I want one! HA!
I got a similar spotting but i could not find ID http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7849385
