Description:

about two feet long; also known as black-banded sea krait or, in Okinawa, erabu

Habitat:

area of rocky, steep-sided ridges with coral; sand channels with rubble in draws between ridges; 30-50 feet deep

Notes:

original media photoprints taken off of Diamond Beach with Nikonos III, close-up kit and flash; prints later scanned and images saved as digital files
