I have the same issue with the blues. I can catch them flying, but never just resting. I don't think I've ever seen a green. Very nice picture.

Thank you Alice! Yes I agree, I definitely don't see these as often as the other herons. I was actually trying to get a shot of a Great Blue and I got a bit close and he flew off and as I was walking away this fella landed.
