Description:

Also known as Cylindrical Grubfish, Cylindrical Weever, Yellowtail Grubfish, Yellowtail Sandperch, Yellowtail Weever, Sharpnose Grubfish, Sharpnose Sandperch and Sharpnose Weever. They feed on small animals and zooplankton, and grow to about 14cm in length.

Habitat:

Found singly or in small groups on sand and rubble areas in lagoons and coastal reefs. Widespread in the Western Pacific.
