Description:

unknown species of lion fish with feathery dorsal and ventral fins

Habitat:

sub-tropical coral reef ecosystem

Notes:

spotted off west coast of Okinawa; data and location notional, but correct within a month, and within five miles; original medium photoprints taken with Nikonos III using close-up kit and flash; prints subsequently scanned and images saved as digital files
