We never made it to Anchorage just did Vancouver & back in a week stopping off in Hoonah, Juneau, & Skagway, & cruising through the inside passage past the Hubbard glacier! It was a very memorable trip & we saw lots of humpback whales & orcas - but no sea otters! :)
Thanks ladies! @Karen L, it was actually 2008, my mistake:) It was on Carnival Spirit. August 2008. We flew into Anchorage (3 days), hopped aboard for a week (balcony view), then stayed over a week in Vancouver to explore.
How adorable! I'm jealous! We did the Alaska Inside Passage cruise in 2008 but we never got to see sea otters!
