Description:

Red flowers can be a epiphyte or grow directly on the ground. This one was on the ground at the hidden Lakes area on Lake Te Anau.

Habitat:

Usually an epiphyte and often covered in bright red flowers in the summer. Usually referred to as the southern christmas tree.
