Thank you! We try our best, but there are so many left behind.
How sad. I volunteer at a shelter & it breaks my heart to see how carelessly some people treat their pets, I'm happy to hear that Barnaby has a good home now!
No, he was found outside the city nearly frozen to death. He'd been passed around from adoptive home to foster home for six years. We received him as a foster cat thinking that we'd have him until the end. A young couple had expressed interest in him. After I'd heard more about them, I came to a decision that it would be too risky. We adopted him and he's grown very close to us. We feel he's very happy here.
It sounds like Barnaby has had a tough life! Did you rescue him?
I'm glad someone agrees! He's missing an ear and his tail. His eyes are grey and pointed outward.
