Black Medick has very distinctive semi-spiral seedpods. For years I figured the little yellow clovers in my area were hop clovers until I took a real good look at one. Black medick is very closely related to alfalfa and you can sprout the seeds and eat them just like alfalfa.

Thanks! I think it's the Black Medick. It's looks very similar. These were very very tiny, I've zoomed in a lot in the above photo.
