Description:

Red and black larvae. There are pairs of raised black dots down its center. The outside edge are raised red bumps. Last image shows size in relation to the plant.

Habitat:

Mule Fat in riparian area near Sikes Adobe. This beetle was introduced from Australia to help reduce the scale infestation.
