Hi Kenzie, great shot! Do you have any other views of this beauty? The shape and patterning of the face (as well as the body coloration) of this mantis look more consistent with a Chinese Mantid (Tenodera sinensis). I am pretty sure that Mantis religiosa doesn't have stripes on it's face. Take a look at the images on the links below and see what you think!
