Field Notes

Description:

Sand brown bird with large head and huge yellow eyes and long yellowish legs. A broad, buffy bar between two narrow white bars and a white patch in the dark wings seen during flight.

Habitat:

Seen in an open field at Gandhinagar.

Notes:

It was staring in a bush for some time as though posing for me and after a while there was some noise of birds around and it ran away inside a bush.
