Field Notes

Description:

The first 2 pics are of a male who was posing for me and the second is of a female. A slender, pale ashy hawk with black tips on its wings, which is seen when in flight. Female, brown with round owl like head. Stops sharply in mid air while hovering for food, when it sees a prey. Eats Lizards, frogs, grasshoppers, nestling or disabled birds, etc.

Habitat:

Seen at the Wild Ass Sanctuary near the Little Rann of Kutch.

Satyen, it really no needs to be sorry at all, that just because of a technical error.
Sorry Sachin, you were right, as per your mail, the first 2 pics are of a male and the third is a female. I don't know how 3 pics were uploaded. Sorry again and thanks for your noting....changed.
