Description:
Large 50-60mm heavily built spider with large black fangs, a distinct black, shiny thoracic shield, and a very heavy looking pinkish and brown abdomen, strong looking tapering legs orange/pink down to black with few small hairs.
Habitat:
Makes a hole in the earth and lines it with silk. Pops out only to catch prey and usually at night.
Notes:
This female was found in my vegie garden. <br>
