Field Notes

Description:

caps - Diameter to 12 mm, projects to 12 mm, thickness to 1 mm; convex; white to buff; minutely hairy, leathery; margin incurved.

Habitat:

On living and dead eucalypt tree-trunks in forests. This very tiny, cream to white fungus grows in massed tiers on the substrate. Cream pores appear large for the size of the fruit-body. A small disc attaches the stem to the substrate.
Stem - Lateral - length to 3 mm; white to cream; minutely hairy. Basal disc small.
