Description:

Eel ~ 4 feet long. Body brown with white markings; head greenish.

Habitat:

Near shore tropical waters; coral reef ecosystem.

Notes:

Spotted off of Leeward Oahu. The day and month are notional; the year is known to be correct. Original media photoprints taken with Nikonos III using close-up kit and flash; prints later scanned and images saved as digital files.
