Field Notes

Description:

Long, white grubs with two little red points at the opening on one end. The body tapers away from that end. They are mostly white, with dark coloration inside on the larger ones.

Habitat:

An old, dead oak tree I was splitting up. The tree grew, and is now in pieces in, Central Florida.
