Description:

Hermit crab in shell (~ 1 inch long) with anemones attached.

Habitat:

Near shore tropical waters; coral reef ecosystem.

Notes:

Spotted off of Leeward Oahu. Original medium photoprint taken with Nikonos III using close-up kit and flash; print later scanned and image saved as digital files.
