Field Notes

Description:

Large group of male and female golden eyes out in the rain and fog. You can see the white eye spot on the males.

Habitat:

Lake between two 500 ft. quartzite bluffs.

Notes:

Large group of goldeneys out today, diving and feeding. They were hard to spot as the kept getting lost in the fog. If it wasn't raining, I would have been able to get closer pictures.
