Great porcupine shot. I saw a wild one in the Willamette National Forest, at a campground near the Dee Wright Observatory once. He was up a tree, very cool... but no camera.
The High Desert Museum does have some very lovely indoor exhibits, as well as a few outdoor enclosures showing native animals including the one with porcupines; another with river otters. A very nice facility & well worth the visit.
NO! Very much alive. I'm not sure why they call it a museum. It is more of a zoological facility.
Hi alaynahuter, you said it's at the museum, does that mean this is a stuffed animal?
Thanks! Not hard to get since he resides at the High Desert Museum.
