Very bold, Sachin. But I suspect he was a bit annoyed with us because he flew off right after these two photos.
Thanks, annorion. (But I have to give part of the credit to my daughter. When I saw the bird and squealed, "LOOK! STOP!", she pulled onto the shoulder and stopped right at the tree like she was pulling into her pit at Talladega.)
