as about the crab shells, I believe it's Metacarcinus novaezelandiae(ngahorohoro) shells...
Thank you. The snail shells belong to Periwinkles, Littorina obtusata I think they maybe called, and so common here that I hadn't even thought of them.
I love these capricious collections. Very nice photos. What are those snails in the second picture?
