Field Notes

Description:

Slightly larger than a Ruby Throat. Dull metallic green back with a greyish breast. Wing tips rounded and bill slightly curved. Tends to pump its tail as it hovers.

Habitat:

On its favorite evening perch at the top of a crepe myrtle tree.
