Description:

3-4 cm wingspan.

Habitat:

Found during night at a Lodge in Mlawula nature reserve.

Notes:

Tose pictures are showing three different moths. Same family for sure, but it is even the same species?

Very nice find! All the specimens you found in the pictures are males, and the species is Hemijana variegata.
Identification confirmed by Rolf Oberprieler. All four photos are most likely of the same species, the last one has just lost a lot of its scales.
