This plant has no leaves and the nodes looks like a miniature bamboo. The stem is hollow, growing on a grassland near a forest.

Horsetails are fun! Kids like to pull apart the sections with a "pop!", and then put them back together again. (I'm an adult, and I still find myself doing that! hahaha!)
a poorly branched species (unbranched also exist).
