I think your ID is correct bayucca you can see here how the Cyanophrys miserabilis does not have the black spot on the hindwing and it has like two little tails, http://butterfliesofamerica.com/cyanophrys_miserabilis_live2.htm also this butterfly was spotted on Santa Elena wich is close to the mountain
I think Mirabilis is a valuable candidate. But I am confused by this dark and detached spot on the hindwing. If you look at the above mentioned link it looks more like Cyanophrys longula. In other shots this spot is not so clearly visible. In Mirabilis this spot is not automatically missing, but not specially detached and also not always visible. So I would slightly tend to Longulus. It is called Mountain Greenstreak, but I can't judge the altitude of the location. Do you call Heredia or the surroundings of Heredia already as "mountain" and how high must "mountain" be. I am not sure about this criteria. Take a look at Longula and tell us what you think about... http://butterfliesofamerica.com/imagehtmls/Lycaenidae/05-SRNP-35331-DHJ362899_i.htm http://butterfliesofamerica.com/imagehtmls/Lycaenidae/Cyanophrys_longula_PANAMA_CHIRIQUI_PROV._Boquete_D_and_K_yrd_DW_05xii06_014_i.htm http://www.flickr.com/photos/billbouton/2742357918/ http://butterfliesofamerica.com/cyanophrys_longula.htm
Aquí hay otro enlace, a mi se me hacen bastante similares, podría ser esta... http://butterfliesofamerica.com/cyanophrys_miserabilis.htm
I don't think it is Callophrys rubi, this one is not found in the neotropics. I think yours might also be a Cyanophrys sp.
try to check this one... http://www.eurobutterflies.com/species_pages/avis.htm this could probably be Chapman's Green Hairstreak...
acording to the info on the web is very strange to see this butterfly on central america
