Description:

Chicken of the Woods Mushroom

Habitat:

Dyeing or injured trees.

Notes:

Found this cluster outside a HomeDepot in Ocala, Florida at the base of an injured Oak Tree. Was wondering if anyone would confirm what it is?
Note the fingerlike tubular things where gills would be on some mushrooms in the close up.
