Description:

Black cap and bin, white cheeks, grey back. Bouncy flight path.

Habitat:

Woods, farmland, suburb, population declining. Will nest in tree hole or birdhouse includes moss. Prefers sunflower and suet in above ground feeders. Comes to birdbaths. --Stokes Guide to Birds of North America
