Razor coral 4-5 inches across on hard bottom.

Habitat:

Near shore sub-tropical waters; coral reef ecosystem.

Notes:

Spotted offshore of west coast of Okinawa; location shown is notional. Month and day date notional, but correct within one month. Original medium 35mm color slide taken with Nikonos III, close-up kit and flash; film later scanned and image saved as digital file.
