Several coral heads on hard bottom.

Near shore tropical waters; coral reef ecosystem.
Notes:
Spotted offshore of Oahu; location shown is notional. Date shown notional; actual date was during 1993-1994. Image possibly includes some form of cauliflower coral; arc-eye hawkfish (Parachirrhites arcatus), freckled hawkfish (Paracirrhites forsteri) and four-spot butterflyfish (Chaetodon (Exornator) quadrimaculatus) also visible in image. Original medium 35mm color slide taken with Nikonos V using flash; film subsequently scanned and image saved as digital file.
