Field Notes

Habitat:

Rocky coast at Strawberry Hill state park, Oregon. Wandering Tattler? But I notice my Sibley doesn't have a dot for this species for Oregon.

By the time we get them in California they almost look like a Willet.
Sibley is notorious for having incorrect range maps. This is a wandering tattler, and they are perfectly in range for Oregon. https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Wandering_Tattler/id?gclid=Cj0KEQiAhZPDBRCz642XqYOCpb8BEiQANUcwTy3Mrdijh1uy1Ut0RUJ1kXynJsSGnRVCRLAr7EAbPHoaAhx68P8HAQ
