Habitat:

Found on survey track in equatorial lowland rainforest.

Notes:

Genus Alcides was changed to Alcidodes (by Marshall).
it looks like eaten corn cob with black growths :) first time i see such felicitous creature. i like it alot! :)
nice weevil, but I like more the second picture
