Description:

Being a large bird of wide occurrence, it is known by various names according to the region which it inhabits. Are some of them: White Thrush, Brown Thrush, Yellow-billed Thrush, Bone-beak Thrush and various other names.
Its wide distribution makes it one of Brazil's best-known thrushes.
Despite being seen all year, is a migratory bird in a few months.
Adapted to urban environments, as well as outlines of forests, savannas and areas such as parks, gardens and orchards.
It is a bird of medium size, reaching 21cm. It has a white breast with darker lines wich vary with the animal (serving as a "fingerprint").

Habitat:

This species occurs in almost all states of Brazil and Argentina. Their migratory period happens from May to August.

Notes:

This bird was dealing with a large worm, wich it struck several times. In the end, the bird managed to form a small roll with the worm, wich it carried away in its beak.

What looks like a dark wire in the left of the bird is actually a large worm. In the second picture one can see how the bird managed to carry the worm away.
