Description:

Also known as Knobby Sputnik Sea Urchin, Mine Urchin, Land Mine Sea Urchin, Crown Sea Urchin, Crown Urchin Thorn-spined Sea Urchin, Thorn-spined Urchin, Large-spined Urchin, Spiny Urchin and Spiky Urchin.

Varies in color from place to place. They feed on invertebrates, sponges and even dead fish.

Habitat:

Found in shallow waters in rubble and patch reefs. Widespread in the Indo-Pacific region.

Notes:

Spotted this on a night dive.
