Description:

A beautiful turquoise wasp. Commonly known as cuckoo wasps, the hymenopteran family Chrysididae is a very large cosmopolitan group (over 3000 described species) of parasitoid or kleptoparasitic wasps.

Habitat:

Seen on bushes by the side of a dirt road running through the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, SW Uganda.
