Description:

Tiny crab with one large claw sitting on the side of his hole home.

Habitat:

Marsh areas. These were all over and lived in small holes in the ground.

The "general" fiddler crab link was what I linked the scientific name to because it says there are over 100 catagories.
Hi pennymomof2! Crabs belong to the Arthropods category, not others. Also, when you submit a spotting there is a specific field to provide links such as Wikepedia. If you do not know the exact species or scientific name of the organism you're showing, the best is to leave the fields for Common name and Scientific name empty, and ask for help to identify it. This way it will appear in the list of Unidentified organisms. I hope this helps!
