Short caterpillars with shiny black heads and rears. 15mm

4th instar?

Habitat:

Eucalyptus

Notes:

Couldn't get any closer because they were above a huge stinging ant colony.

As I see it, the image carries with it some humor. After reading your personal note I could no more contain the laughter. If this image arrived here, you've survived :-). This one got me curious. Did you get also picture from the ants colony? It would be nice to see it. Thanks for sharing. I'll be enjoying the rest of the ride in this wonderful portfolio.
