Field Notes

Description:

The white-browed robin-chat (Cossypha heuglini) is a species of bird in the Muscicapidae family.
Saw this little bird from the boat. It was under some trees by the edge of the water, quite a long way off, but it's colour stood out!

Habitat:

Seen along the Kazinga Channel between Lake George and Lake Edward.

Thanks Daniele. That looks good... I think I remember that name now from the guide on the boat. Well done! It's not a very good photo. A long way away, and it was in the dark under some trees!
Hi Pam! I haven't found a better match so far; I would appreciate confirmation.
