Lycaenidae, Polyommatinae, Cupido comyntas, male. First I was a little bit confused by the shape of the black spots on the underside of the forewing. In yours they look more rounded than in some "flattened" on bugguide. But looking at other ones and the other markings like the tiny tail and size and location of the orange spot, your "must" be a male Cupido comyntas. http://bugguide.net/node/view/545708/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/907692/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/815528/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/613449/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/925679/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/545702/bgimage The whole bulk: http://bugguide.net/node/view/464/bgimage?from=0 http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/species/Cupido-comyntas http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Tailed-Blue
