Field Notes

Description:

Very small frog with spotted, brown skin and a lighter underbelly.

Habitat:

A woodpile on the edge of a lush yard near Lake Killarney in central Florida. The trees are tall, bushes thick and plants well-watered. It's a very friendly place for flora and fauna.

Notes:

I spotted this frog while I was in the middle of splitting wood - that's dust from the woodpile that's all over him.
