slug moving along forest floor

Habitat:

Pacific northwest redwood forest

Notes:

spotted off of US 199 in Redwoods National Park; stuck part of my right foot (size 9½EEEE) into the second image to provide some sort of ad hoc scale; ID is notional--I know nothing about slugs
