Thanks StirredMocha, I think the butterfly flew, see Pic 4 of this series http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/800786012 I cannot find it in my Mediterranean plant book but hoping Jopy will be able to identify it, she is very good with European plants, esp. flowers.
