Description:

It is a medium sized butterfly that has white,gold and black markings on the wings.This one was drinking some wildflowers.The caterpillars of this butterfly are green and eat cabbage.

Habitat:

Semi-urban habitat,Fort Worth, Texas.

Notes:

The caterpillars of this butterfly are commonly misidentified as cabbage worm or the caterpillars of the cabbage white butterfly.
