Fabulous colours. I learned somewhere that the birds of paradise in Papua may have evolved from starlings. This one certainly supports the idea. Thanks.

Hi Cindy! This is not a superb starling. The superb starling is quite well described in the following link complete with pictures: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superb_Starling There are also quite a few pics of the superb starling on Noah. This may be Ruppell's starling. Maybe Noah in-house bird gurus Atul, Liam and Malcolm can confirm!
