Field Notes

Description:

Small, light brown lizard with a white, black and light green patterned-strip down it's back. All of the anoles I have run into are very skittish, quick and like to jump as oft as they run.

Habitat:

A lush yard near Lake Killarney in central Florida. The trees are tall, bushes thick and plants well-watered. It's a very friendly place for flora and fauna.

Notes:

Several that I have seen are small enough to stand on just my fingertip, though this guy could easily stretch out across the palm of my hand.
