Description:
This tiny 4 mm nymph had a tadpole shape with a large thoracic plate, pale eyes, downward pointing rounded wing buds and segmented abdomen. Arising from the rear end of the abdomen was a tuft of stiff waxy spikes like a brush.
Habitat:
Spotted on a eucalyptus tree
Notes:
Also called Torpedo bug.
This is probably the nymph of S.acuta from
