Description:

All Muscovy Ducks have long claws on their feet and a wide flat tail. In the domestic drake (male), length is about 86 cm (34 in) and weight is 4.6–6.8 kg (10–15 lb), while the domestic hen (female) is much smaller

Habitat:

Found a group of these ducks in a local village In Sapa, North Vietnam Found next to a small pond

It looks like a Muscovy duck, or at least the result of a cross-breed with a Muscovy duck! The wiki article doesn't have good photos, but if you search for it in Google Images you'll find some that look more like this duck :) Nice portrait http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscovy_Duck
