Field Notes

Description:

Smallish mushrooms with grayish brown caps that had striate margins. Gills were white/tannish with short gills present. Stipes were white.

Habitat:

They were growing inside a hollowed out, rotten snag in a swampy forest with lots of conifers and oak.

Notes:

This is the first spotting of this species on Project Noah.
